⚠️⚠️ So people keep asking us where in the NYS guidelines does it state either/or with masking and distancing and where does it say we can use barriers. Here you go (see photos below)! ⚠️⚠️
🙌🏻🙌🏻 I also present to you Perry Central Schools (one of NUMEROUS school districts in NYS open 5 full days). Plenty of desks. Not all 6ft apart by any means. Using barriers. And even smiling children because barriers substitute for 6ft AND no need for masks when barriers or 6ft exist. (See photos below.) 🙌🏻🙌🏻
-using plexiglass where social distance can’t be maintained
-6ft spacing on sides of desk or between pods of desks
-use of masks when social distance or barrier isn’t available
👍🏻It’s pretty simple and the Perry's superintendent has been very vocal about how he’s getting the job done and willing to help others. (Check our their Facebook by clicking HERE for more awesome pictures of a happy school district!)
💁🏻♀️Guess what Perry Central Schools has that Monroe County doesn’t? Perry Central Schools credits a FLEXIBLE AND REASONABLE health commissioner for allowing them to get the job done!
🤷🏻♀️ Why can’t our overpaid superintendents make it happen? Why aren’t they pushing back on Mendoza and submitting similar plans as Perry to the state?
👊🏻 How about a field trip for our superintendents to Perry to see how they’ve made it happen? They should feel pretty stupid their kids aren’t all smiling and at school!
🤷🏻♀️ Why isn’t Mendoza allowing use of barriers and not using what the state has given us to work with? What’s his real deal?
🤷🏻♀️ Bigger question - why have your children been masked this entire school year all day if they maintain 6ft distance????? Yet look at all these beautiful smiling faces in Perry!!!!!🙏🏻😊
